Advantages of Silk Screen Printing
Quantity
Screen printing large runs of identical graphics can be printed less expensively compared to digital processes. The larger the volume of the run, the more competitive screen printing becomes.
Print Quality
Screen printing quality is generally higher than digital printing. Small text and fine lines are some of screen printing’s advantages. Minute detail and precision are better controlled over the course of the manufacturing run of large quantities.
Durability
Silk Screening creates durable and longer lasting products. Inks are applied in heavier, thicker layers for more vibrant and brilliant colors. Overlays are often “back printed” or “printed on the sub-surface” for added durability.
