The Franciscan Values Award for Generosity and Leadership
Marian College's Opportunities for Excellence Dinner Honors Marian, Inc.

October 25, 2007

Indianapolis, IN — We have sometimes needed to explain to folks in Indianapolis that there is no real connection between our company and the local college that goes by the same name. That is, until now.

On October 25th Marian College (soon to be Marian University) honored Marian, Incorporated at their annual Opportunities for Excellence dinner held on campus and attended by more than 500 of the school's closest friends, including Archbishop Daniel Buechlein, Mayor Bart Peterson, Alan Leighton (class of '62), and other dignitaries.

Bill Witchger accepted The Franciscan Values Award on behalf of all of Marian's employees. The company was chosen, according to Senior Cody Whited who presented the award, for their continued generosity and leadership in the community of Indianapolis.

It is with great pride that those of us who work at Marian, Inc. share a common bond with the students, alumni, and faculty of Marian University. We share both our name and our values!
