Giving Back To The Community

Since our founding in 1954, Marian has cultivated a culture of hard work, dedication, and service to the Indianapolis community. Part of our mission is to find ways to continuously improve our business, and we take this philosophy one step further by dedicating significant resources to the improvement of the communities where we live and work.

10-Year Anniversary as a Company that Cares
ctc_logo_2008_jpeg_small2.jpgMarian is among a select group in Central Indiana that has earned the Company that Cares distinction for results during the 2008 United Way of Central Indiana (UWCI) annual workplace campaign.

The recognition is awarded to organizations that reach their fundraising or participation goal and achieve benchmarks in volunteer community participation, leadership giving, and more. Companies that Care also excel in educating employees about community needs and the best ways to meet them and exemplify the spirit of volunteerism by allowing employees to give time to United Way programs and/or its agencies.

Over the course of its 25 years of participation in the annual campaign, Marian and our employees have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local Indianapolis charities.

Dedicated to the Indianapolis Community

Marian supports a muindy_skyline_pic.jpgltitude of Indianapolis organizations. Whether it's through the use of our event space, a financial contribution, or the dedication of an employee's time, Marian makes it a priority to engage with the Indianapolis community.

Following are just some of the organizations we have supported: Marian University; Indiana University Foundation; Brebeuf High School; The Cadeux Ball; Providence Cristo Rey High School; Archdiocese of Indianapolis; The Little Sisters of the Poor; Fatima Retreat House; Catholic Social Services; Indianapolis Downtown Rotary Club; The Indianapolis Metropolitan Firefighters Bereavement Fund "America Remembers"; and the Indianapolis Zoological Society.

Neighborhood Support

These organizations include:
Miracle Place; Holy Cross Parish; Athenaeum Foundation, John H. Boner Center; Cottage Home Neighborhood Association; and Arsenal Technical High School.
